Together

Good Morning,

Last night I celebrated being with my beautiful wife Kelly for 18 years. We have quite a history together and endless tales of growth, pain and learning. . . none of which we would have done any differently. I feel fortunate to have found someone to walk with and although we are strong individuals we are an even stronger team. One of the most important things we have awaken to over the years is that what we need to know about the past is that no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring us to this very moment, and this is the moment we can choose to make everything new. Right now.

When we are asked what the secret to a successful marriage we have only one answer and that is love. The thing is love is not a clock. You simply cannot take it apart just to see what makes it tick, and even if you could, you probably could never get it back together again. So instead of trying to figure out love or how to love correctly we have always kept one thought shared between us - Life has taught us that love does not consist in looking at each other, but in looking together in the same direction.

Have a beautiful day and may you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough perseverance to make you happy.

Peace and Love, Jim
