Good Morning,

We shared trick or treating with some very dear friends last night. Not that we went around getting candy but we sat out side and gave out the candy. The little ones were all dressed up and smiling, the night air was nice and crisp and the sky was a rich dark azure blue. It was a simple yet special moment shared with both those we knew and those we did not. As the night went on I began to notice the amount of effort and time the various parents took to make this night happen for their little monsters. Some were dressed up themselves, while others were still in work attire and looking a bit rushed and frazzled.

This brought me to thinking about how hard we all work behind the scenes to create opportunities for those we love. To create memories that hopefully create experience and eventually develop an understanding of what it means to share, play and work with others. It was a beautiful night and the moments we spent with our friends remind me that we should all awaken in ourselves a spirit of cooperation, for then it will not be a mere plan or agreement which causes us to come together, but an extraordinary feeling of togetherness, the sense of joy in being and doing together without any thoughts of reward or punishment.

Have a beautiful day and share with someone today in some small way. Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
